Underneath the debris
He found a letter
In a pink case
It was about all their joy
Happiness and smiles
Their heart and mind
And the other things
That were lost in time
Tears streamed down his face as he read it
It seems so unnecessary, the letter said
To try to be high all the time
When everytime
It comes crashing down

The constant fight within
They found a way out, he thought
