I am suddenly in the world’s eyes
So far into the night
The darkness is unsettling
And the light seems unprecedented
Hope seems to be savior
Everytime I try
Holding me up, high up in the sky
A picture that you painted
Lasted only a day
It faded, even before we could say
The one thing that mattered
So, here I am
Lost and lonely again
At the mercy of the world
Embracing the change
And hoping, never to get hurt
